Hi, I’m Macie.  I created Lifestyle File as a way to share ideas and inspiration for topics that appeal to me:  fashion, home, beauty, popular culture, parenting, entertaining…life.  I am a wife, mother, business owner and writer who enjoys the simple things in life:  laughing hysterically with my husband, reading bedtime stories to my children and drinking wine with friends.  I also love family gatherings, Friends reruns, playing Celebrity (a much more fun version of Charades), Southern cooking and margaritas poolside.  I grew up in South Carolina and by way of New York City settled in beautiful San Diego, California.  As luck would have it I’ve lived in some incredible places.  I am proud to call California home but still enjoy getting a comment on my Southern accent every now and then!
